As one of the Top 50 vendors of Info-communications Media Development Authority Singapore under the SMEs Go Digital initiative, Aptiv8 IT Solutions has participated in the SCE since 2018. "I see a huge opportunity where we can engage digitalization projects in Chongqing," said Tay.

Aptiv8 IT Solutions operates in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, providing industry-leading software solutions and project information management systems to a number of medium and large organizations in the Asia Pacific and the Middle East. The company provides integrated IT products and services, and engages in digital software systems, IT and Product development, e-commerce applications, and IT consulting services.

This January, Aptiv8 IT Solutions reached strategic cooperation with Chongqing Dabangke Technology. The two sides set up a Chongqing company, aiming to fully use their respective advantages and comprehensively deepen long-term strategic partnership, jointly provide industry-leading industry solutions, and achieve win-win brand cooperation.

"We are now providing our solutions to help the local construction companies or property developers in Chongqing to actually digitalize their project from the design stage to the construction stage, and to even the facilities management stage," said Tay. "We see a lot of opportunities in these areas."

Green technology shall be the next target

In response to future cooperation between China and Singapore, Tay thinks green technology shall be a good idea to start with. "Both Singapore and China have committed to stabilizing its greenhouse gas emissions," said Tay. "Both sides share the same goal in this space with the introduction to actively and aggressively promoting green technology into the countries by 2030, to reach zero carbon emission."

Tay insists that through cooperation in green technology, people who live in the two countries will benefit from a much better environment, reaching a livable and sustainable living standard.
