At the 9th China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival, Chongqing Municipality and Hubei Province achieved fruitful foreign investment attraction results, according to the signing ceremony in Wanzhou, Chongqing, on November 9, 2018.

During the festival, relevant districts and counties have proactively attracted tourism cooperation projects, based on their unique tourism resources.
In total, 17 projects worth RMB 57.5 billion are signed at the ceremony. Among them, Chongqing has 14 projects with RMB 53.1 billion and Hubei 3, RMB 4.4 billion. These successful projects will lead the industrial transformation and upgrade as well as social and economic development in both cities, especially for the tourism of the Three Gorges area.
