Chongqing- The National Finals of the 6th "Maker in China" Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Southwestern China's Chongqing Municipality from October 31 to November 1.

According to Wang Renlin, Deputy Director of Chongqing Economic and Information Technology Commission, this competition consists of four main activities at the event's related press conference, including the final roadshow. The top 50 projects selected from the regional contests and special contests will participate in the national finals.

In terms of project matchmaking, this competition will organize the top 50 project teams to visit the Western (Chongqing) Science City and Bishan High-tech Industrial Development Zone for inspection and matchmaking, gather high-quality, innovative resources across the country, invite venture capital investment counseling agencies to conduct reverse roadshows, and promote the in-depth cooperation among projects, parks and service institutions.

Additionally, exhibitions of the high-quality development of entrepreneurship and innovation, the national top 50 projects, and Chongqing entrepreneurship and innovation achievements, review of entrepreneurship and innovation competitions, and display of 2021 competition results will be staged on-site to spread the story of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Entrepreneurship and innovation are important measures to promote China's innovation-driven development strategy in the era of innovation 2.0.

At the closing ceremony and award ceremony, the relevant national specialized agencies will release the Research Report on the Innovative Development of Award-winning Projects of "Maker in China," and project signing activities will be held.
