Chongqing- Super 80s Street is a newly renovated residential quarter in the heart of Nanping District, with 2 kilometers worth of  1980s retro-style streets and alleyways for locals and visitors to explore.

This trendy new edition was unveiled around mid-2021 and offers visitors the chance to envisage what this area, home to the largest concentration of 1980s buildings in the Chongqing Urban Area, once looked like when it was one of the most bustling districts in the city. 

Nanping District earmarked this residential area for a 137 million yuan restoration project back in November 2020 and forms part of a city-wide drive to renovate urban communities as part of the 14th Five Year Plan, which aims to provide a high-quality living environment for city residents.
