Chongqing-The Chinese and French Youth Painting and Speech international cultural exchange took place in Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality on July 24, 2019.

The event was guided by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, Chongqing Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, China News Service Chongqing Branch, and co-hosted by the Chongqing Children's Palace, Chongqing Hongyi Jiuzhou International Culture and Art Co., Ltd. 42 Chinese French teenagers and ten young Chongqing locals participated in the cultural activity, said Zhang Hang, chairman of Hongyi JiuzhouInternational Culture and Art Co., Ltd.
Representatives from France shared their experiences in participating in the event and their love for this charming city of Chongqing. They mentioned about hot pot and the amazing night view of downtown Chongqing. Moreover, Chongqing youth representatives introduced places for fun from their perspectives. After their sharing, these little cultural ambassadors drew their impressions about Chongqing city on the drawing boards. Some children used chili pepper to show spicy food in Chongqing and some drew hot pot.
According to the cohosts, the painting and speech event was a part of the first China-French Youth International Cultural Exchange Tour in Chongqing. The cultural exchange tour lasted for almost one month and participated youths learned Chines culture, Chinese painting, paper-cutting and so on.
