In Hongchiba, Wuxi, Chongqing, more than 20km2 of larch needles have recently turned yellow. In this beautiful season, we went to admire the beautiful autumn scenery at Hongchiba, which looks just like a fantastic painting.
With morning fog, peaks, and the sea of clouds, the Hongchiba National Forest Park has an average elevation of more than 2,000m. A vast sea of white clouds on a sunny autumn day is just a typical scene there.
As the sun rises, the sky becomes clear and blue high above the golden pine forests. At this moment, Hongchiba gets its most brilliant colors.
Hongchiba boasts the most abundant alpine pasture in South China. The villagers there live on animal husbandry. During the peak period, nearly 10,000 heads of cattle, sheep, and horses were farmed.
This July, Hongchiba National Forest Park was reopened after being closed for nearly two years. It has not only built a wild plant park but upgraded the roads within it. It has helped the villagers set up mutual-aid associations for development to increase the income of the villagers, limited the number of livestock, and protected the ecology through the growing of vegetables on a large scale, introduction of Happy Farmhouse projects, and nearby employment. By this October, the villagers have increased their income by 10,000 yuan.
