China-Hungary Joint Smart Terminal Industry Settled in Chongqing

On April 28th, the "2019 China (Chongqing)-Hungary Automobile Industry Innovation Forum" jointly organized by Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau and the Hungarian Consulate General in Chongqing. In this forum, Dr. Palkovics László, Minister of Innovation and Technology in Hungary, Li Dianxun, deputy mayor of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and Lóránd Dióss, Consul General of Hungary in Chongqing have witnessed the signing ceremony of China-Hungary Joint Smart Terminal Industry Settled in Tongnan with the signing agreement between Tongnan People`s Government and Craffe Industrial Co. Ltd.

The "Intelligent Terminal Product Project" was officially signed and settled in Tongnan District, Chongqing, which focuses on design, development, and production of products as smartphones and automotive electronics.

Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau introduced that the "Intelligent Terminal Product Project" have investment for 50 million yuan. It will take about 6,000 square meters of standard factory buildings for design, research, development, and production of smartphones, smart bracelets, touch keyboards, automotive electronics, and other products. Its annual output value will be 1.5 billion yuan and the tax revenue will be 15 million yuan for a year.

During the forum, Dr. Palkovics László, Minister of Innovation and Technology in Hungary, gave a speech and indicated that he expects this forum could witness the breakthrough in the cooperation between China and Hungary in the field of automotive industry innovation.

“As the traditional automobile industry and the top one vehicle sales nationwide, Chongqing needs to upgrade the automobile industry. The automobile industry needs to upgrade its industrial chain, innovation chain, capital chain, and service chain in order to become China's first-class automobile industry. Therefore, it could obtain the strong competitiveness and long-term vitality of the automotive industry. Hungary has a distinctive advantage to cooperate with Chongqing. Hungarian intelligent manufacturing and unmanned technology have a reputation in the world. They also have scientific and technological talents, research and development results and practical technology. There is great potential for cooperation between the Chongqing and Hungary in the automotive industry. It is hoped that the two places will take the opportunity of this Forum, and rely on the China-Hungary Technology Transfer Center to promote cooperation between China and Hungary, especially between Chongqing and Hungary. Overall, it will connect Chongqing and Hungary a strong alliance to promote innovation and upgrade the automotive industry together” Li conculed.
