Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (often referred to as Chinese Academy of Sciences Chongqing Institute) is a public institution directly under the Chinese Academy of Sciences and established jointly by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, State Council Three Gorges Office and Chongqing Municipal People's Government. Since its initiation and establishment in March 2011, insisting on the core value of "innovation being the soul and based on the market" and considering major scientific and technological demands of economic and social development from Chongqing and the upper reaches of Yangtze River, it consists of an Institute of Electronic Information Technology, an Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Institute, a Three-Gorges Ecological and Environmental Research Institute and an Institute of Biomedicine and Health (preparatory). By the end of 2021, Chongqing Research Institute had more than 400 employees.
中国科学院重庆绿色智能技术研究所（简称中科院重庆所）是中国科学院直属事业单位，由中国科学院、国务院三峡办和重庆市人民政府共同设立。自2011年3月创办以来，秉承“创新是灵魂，以市场为基础”的核心价值理念，以重庆及长江上游地区经济社会发展的重大科技需求为导向，成立了电子信息技术研究所，智能制造技术研究所、三峡生态环境研究所和生物医学与健康研究所（筹）。到2021年底，重庆研究院已有400多名员工。
