Southwest China’s Chongqing is over 8,000 km away from Paris. However, soon it will only take 12 hours to travel between the two cities.

Hainan Airlines recently announced the addition of Chongqing-Paris non-stop service to their international network, to commence on December 19.

This new route will be Hainan Airlines’ second direct flight between mainland China and Paris. It will be operated by the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and the traveling time will be 11h50m.

It is worth mentioning that you can find the 180-degree flat seat in the business class, and enjoy the exclusive entertainment system in the entire cabin. Chongqing accelerates its speed for building an international transport hub

Chongqing is a center of economy, finance, trade, logistics, technological innovation and shipping of Southwest China and the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. It is expected by 2020 Chongqing will have about 100 international & regional flight routes, and the number of passengers will exceed 50 million, among which 5 million will be international travelers.

As one of the world’s top airlines, Hainan Airlines has actively participated in the plan of Chongqing. Since 2015, it has opened flight routes from Chongqing to Rome, Los Angeles, New York, etc.

After the inauguration of Chongqing-Paris route, in this month Hainan Airlines will also open two new international routes in Chongqing, i.e. Chongqing-Boston (via Shanghai) and Chongqing-Seattle (via Shanghai), respectively.

As of the end of 2018, Hainan Airlines and Tianjin Airlines (a subsidiary of HNA Group) will have twelve international routes in Chongqing, of which eight are non-stop routes.
