Application Process

1、Applicants log on to Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications International Student Online Service System for online application: https://cqupt.17gz.org/ and fill out the application form as required, upload the application materials, and submit.

2、The International Student Admissions Office examines the applicants' qualifications according to the requirements.

3、The qualified materials are forwarded to relevant professional colleges for review and, depending on the situation, conduct an interview or written test.

4、Determine the acceptance list and notify the accepted students by email.

5、The International Student Admissions Office send the acceptance letter, visa application form and other materials.

Application materials

General application materials are as follows

1、One electronic photo

2、A valid passport

3、Proof of highest education and transcripts

4、No criminal record certificate

5、Proof of funds/bank statements

6、Foreigner Medical Examination Form

7、If you have been in China, you need to provide relevant records of your previous stay in China, such as proof of study, proof of work, etc.

8、Proof of language performance (if not available, you can not provide it)

9、The rest of the required materials

Application Time

Spring Entry (March entry): September to December (only for advanced Chinese language students, if you apply for the major, you need to study Chinese for one semester first and then enter the major in September)

Fall Entry (September entry): December to June (open to all levels of students)

Semester schedule

Fall semester: early September to the end of January, subject to the current academic calendar

Spring semester: from the end of February to the beginning of July, subject to the school calendar of the year
