10 Chongqing Young Girls Prepare to Get the Gold Elephant Award

Girls under the Stars, a new play made by Chongqing Acrobatic Troupe, will enter The Moscow International Youth Festival-competition of circus art to compete for the Gold Elephant Award. The ten acrobats are all young girls, who are so intense to have their rehearsals in the practice room.

The youngest acrobat in the team is 12 years old, according to Tang Min, one of the practicing acrobats, she indicated that they are making great efforts on this play, and the training has been held for more than 3 months.

Demonstrated from Li Ting, an acrobat from team,  said the stunt like “rotation 360” for shuttlecock  is the one and only in all participating teams, she is confident that her team will bring back the award.

Chen Tao, the manager of Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe co. LTD, pointed out that the play Girls under the Stars reflected Chongqing local art features, and it has a creative arrangement with some difficult stunts.
