Chongqing-The Chongqing office of European Union Chamber of Commerce in China held the cocktail party in Chongqing to welcome the new Consul General of Austria in Chengdu – Mr Martin Allgaeuer.

“The lucky draw winner of this time goes to 97” said the host while she was picking the lucky number. The party arranged gifts giveaway part to surprise the attendants, which very much matched the Chinese New Year atmosphere now in Chongqing.Mr Consul General delivered the speech, which got the cocktail party to the top. He introduced himself and Austria to the audience from Chongqing patiently with a pleasant sense of humor. At the approaching of Chinese New Year,  in warm cheers, he also sent good wishes to Chongqing People in perfect Chinese.

The party has attracted diplomats of foreign consulates in Chongqing, businessmen and businesswomen from International and local companies to join, which turned out to be a fun and productive event.
