At 19:40 of May 19, a clown in colorful clothes stepped onto the stage of the Chongqing International Circus City, arousing clapping and cheering. Chongqing Acrobatic Troupe will perform the acrobatic show—City of Magic: Extreme Happiness Show (the Performance) at the Chongqing International Circus City at 20: 00 every day from then on.

The Performance features modern acrobatics and encompasses various programs, which have won gold awards in international and national competitions in recent years. A series of breathtaking, thrilling and impressive programs, such as aerial straps act, bicycle acrobatics, the Wheel of Death and trampoline, will present visitors with an extreme feast of art.

Immersive activities, such as street magic teaching, animal show, interaction with clowns, acrobatic experience and parade, will meet the audience at the square, entrances, lobby of the theater and auditorium an hour before the Performance. If available, tightrope walking, springboard and other large-scale acrobatic and magic shows will come to the square for free.
