Chongqing - The Chongqing-Dazu intercity express line opened January 24. Therefore, tourists now have a new option to visit Dazu Rock Carvings from downtown Chongqing.

Meanwhile, the express has multiple stops in the downtown. Also, it offers free pick-up service in Dazu District. At the same time, there are stops in downtown Chongqing, including Chenjiaping Bus Station, Daping Hospital, Times Paradise Walk (Pavilion A), and the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. However, these stops may change according to the passenger flows. Thus, tourists need to refer to the available ones when buying tickets.

The Dazu Rock Carvings are a series of sculptures and carvings located in Dazu District, Chongqing. Also, with over 75 grottoes and some 50,000 statues, this site represents the world’s highest level of grotto art from the 9th to the 13th century. Moreover, it was listed as an item of world cultural heritage in 1999.
