On the evening of December 21, the Magic Lighting Festival kicked off, changing the Happy Valley Chongqing into a sea of lights. Covering an area of 500,000 square meters, it displayed 30 million bright lanterns out of 70 large-scale lighting sets on the themes of “GG Bond”, “Sea World”, “Soul of Peacock” and “Wishing Tree”, offering visitors a visual feast of charming lights and shadows.

On that evening, a group composed of hundreds of happy valley fans ran around Happy Valley Chongqing. Colorful lights were lit one after another, looking so fantastic and beautiful! This lighting festival, after three-month preparation, is the creation of more than one hundred inheritors of Zigong intangible cultural heritage. This festival was so bright, magnificent and creative that it had attracted countless tourists here to take photos.

According to information, the festival will run from December 21, 2018, to February 24, 2019. The 66-day lighting “feast” will span five festivals, namely Christmas, New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Lantern Festival and Valentine’s Day.

Opening hours:

The evening show will be opened from 17:00-22:00 every Friday to Sunday from December 21, 2018, to February 4, 2019 (including December 24-25, 2018; New Year’s Day holiday from December 30, 2018, to January 1, 2019).

Tickets:

The preferential price is RMB 60/person on ordinary days from December 21, 2018 to February 24, 2019.

The original price is RMB 100/person from December 30, 2018 to January 1, 2019.
