As a luxury hotel here, JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing insists to promote the new and fresh experience of food. This time, they plan to hold an Indian Food Festival in Chongqing to bring people here a different taste. The warm-up party of the Indian Food Festival was held on March 11 and the Food Festival will be officially launched on March 15. The festival will continue for over two weeks from March 15 to March 31.

During the warm-up party on March 11, Bishnu, the Executive Chef, taught media participants how to cook traditional Indian Curry Prawn. Different from the fast cooking method, Bishnu did the cooking with traditional Indian method. He also used all natural spices and fresh ingredients. Hence, media participants get to know about Indian cooking concept and learned how to cook a tasteful Curry Prawn.

The authentic taste of India

Bishnu Kumar Magar, Nepalese, is the Executive Chef of JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing. Indian food is the first style of cooking that Bishnu did in his life. Moreover, Bishnu has about 23-year culinary experience in the freestanding and luxury restaurants in Nepal and China. Thus, visitors can taste the traditional and authentic Indian food in JW Marriott Hotel Chongqing.

There will be over 20 authentic Indian dishes on the Indian Food Festival. The chicken shashlik with Indian herbs is full of flavor. Meanwhile, Tandoori lamb chop with mint sauce will bring the dinner a different taste experience. Moreover, there are coconut flavored curry crabs, chicken curry, homemade yogurt… You will find much more than what you expected during the Indian Food Festival.
