Chongqing — On September 3, the delegation of “Experiencing Chongqing, 2019 City Promotion Tour of UK and Germany” arrived in Germany to pay a visit to Dusseldorf and Frankfurt. At the same time, the city show of “Moments with Chongqing” was also presented to residents in Germany.

Feng Haiyang, Chinese consul-general in Dusseldorf, highly praised the promotion tour, saying that the city show of “Moments with Chongqing” introduced Chongqing in a creative way that was particularly attractive to foreigners. And the delegation also communicated with Feng Haiyang about Chongqing being a guest of honor at the “2020 Dusseldorf China festival in Germany”.

The city show “Moments with Chongqing” was held in Frankfurt on September 4. Meanwhile, the Nan'an district and Wulong district held a promotion conference of Chongqing image and cultural tourism, themed “A land of natural beauty, a city with cultural appeal” in Frankfurt. Relevant officials from Frankfurt, Germany, and representatives from German travel agencies attended the conference.

At the meeting, representatives of Nan'an district and Wulong district introduced their respective cultural tourism, and Xue Zhu, the head of the delegation, introduced Chongqing’s culture and tourism. During the promotional conference, the Publicity Department of Nan'an district will sign a strategic cooperation agreement on cultural tourism promotion with China Tours Hamburg CTH GmbH.
