Chongqing — On August 29 to September 5, the “Experience Chongqing 2019 City Promotion Tour of UK and German” will bring the "Moments with Chongqing" show to cities in the UK and Germany. The city show aims to promote Chongqing’s city image and cultural tourism to the locals of the UK and Germany.

The delegation tour will participate in the “5th UK-China Food Festival”, in which Chongqing is the honored guest. At the food festival, the delegation will hold a City Show themed “Moments with Chongqing,” focusing on the promotion of Nanan district and Wulong district. The exhibition will include a Chongqing video show, photo exhibition, large creative inflatable device, and more. Nanan district and Wulong district representatives will introduce their culture and tourism highlights to the UK residents at the event. Moreover, the head of delegation Xue Zhu will invite British and German dignitaries, media, and relevant enterprises to attend the next Western China Tourism Industry Expo and Smart China Expo. Chongqing local delicacies, such as Chongqing Noodles, Moral Village hot pot, and Jiangxiaobai will be displayed and sold at the food festival.

During the tour, the delegation will visit the Telegraph Media Group and the Daily Mail to promote international cooperation of Chongqing publicity and Chongqing media and investigate the "Daily Mail Tourism Exhibition" to discuss cooperation conditions.

During their stay in Bournemouth, the delegation will visit the mayor of Bournemouth, Susan Philips, and convene with the Bournemouth Tourism Management Board. Wulong district will discuss with the organizers of the Bournemouth Air Festival about the "kiss of sky" wingsuit flight activity and the helicopter sightseeing project of Wulong Fairy Mountain and plan to sign a strategic cooperation agreement with the organizers.

The delegation will also hold a "Moments of Chongqing " creative city show in Germany and discuss with Feng Haiyang, Chinese consul general to Dusseldorf, about Chongqing being the guest of honor in the "Dusseldorf China festival.” Nanan district plans to sign a strategic cooperation agreement with the Frankfurt cultural tourism organization to jointly promote cultural tourism between Nanan and Frankfurt.

According to the introduction, the Experience Chongqing city promotion activity is a sub-project of Experience China. The purpose is to promote cooperation between Chongqing and other foreign cities and establish a good international image of Chongqing.
