It will be a thrilling experience to walk on a glass bridge. However, visitors need physical power and courage to step on the tightwire-connected wood planks without glass.

Recently, the Yunduan Colorful Bridge in Yunyang Longgang Scenic Area of Chongqing has been established. In the air, over 600 meters high, several tightwires connected planks to form this bridge. It is between the two cliffs at the lower left of Yunduan Bridge, the world’s longest glass cantilever bridge hangs. Over 600 meters from the ground, the tightwire-and-plank structure is more than 100 meters long in total. It will give visitors a tightrope-walking-like feeling. Moreover, they have to climb the cliffs for a certain distance to get on and off Yunduan Bridge, so the activity, combined rock climbing, wirewalking, and suspension bridge stepping, will challenge the visitor’s courage and physical power alike.

Wansheng Ordovician Theme Park

It is a theme park that offers exciting high-place programs. The designers have well utilized the local conditions and followed the landforms to create these experience, challenge, and recreation facilities, about several floors high from the ground. Each of them aims to stimulate the adrenaline release and enable people to conquer the phobia of heights and push their limits. The world’s longest cantilever glass bridge, approved by the Guinness World Record, also lies here. Visitors to this site can also enjoy the “cliff swing”, which is the first of its kind in China. This recreation facility is on the peak and beside the cliff.

Yunduan Bridge in Yunyang Longgang Scenic Area

Located in Yunyang Longgang Scenic Area, the Yunduan Bridge is on a 1,010-meter-high cliff with the cantilever length of 26.68 meters. The bridge is 718 meters above the ground, and the 3.4-meter-wide walkway has stretched about 50 meters long. As the longest cantilever glass bridge in the world, it is 5 meters longer than the glass bridge walkway in Grand Canyon of Colorado of the US.

Yunshang Paragliding Camp in Yongchuan District

The Yunshang Paragliding Camp is located in the Tea Mountain and Bamboo Sea, two kilometers away from the Yongchuan District of Chongqing. This bamboo sea covers an area of 117 square kilometers, and the average annual temperature is 14°C. In this scenic area, the high front mountains and low rear mountains create an ideal environment for paragliding. While experiencing this sky sport, you will feel like being a freely flying bird or an eagle overlooking the splendid sceneries on the ground.

Jiuchongtian Scenic Area on the Lianhua Mountain in Fengdu

What will you feel while climbing rock on an 800-meter-high cliff? Via Ferrata Rock Climbing, about 280 meters long, is a new program in Jiuchongtian Scenic Area in Fengdu. Under the professional protection and guidance, visitors will climb the rock and step ladders, and pass the hanging bridge along the ridges and cliffs. It is an exhilarating high-altitude experience.

On the Lianhua Mountain in Fengdu, there is a breathtaking sky plank road, which is over 5,000 meters long (3,500 meters are open to the public), 1.5 meters wide, and over 900 meters from the bottom vertically. Many parts of the road are glasses, and visitors there will feel like walking in the air with white clouds under feet. To catch a full view of the mountains and valleys, you need to step on this journey for the brave.
