The amazing shape of the rice field

Shiwan Town built the colorful field, which covers 200 mu (about 133,334 m²). these fields contain five colors of rice: purple, red, yellow, green, and white. These fields form the shape of “Map of China”, “Village Development”, and “the Chinese Dream”. Tourists can not only enjoy the rural scenery but also participate in fish catching and rural painting.

Otherwise, as the highlight of this fest, Yuan Longping Hybrid Rice Exhibition Hall will be open on that day, and this is the first rice science education base. The building covers about 600 m2, including hybrid rice technology hall and the personal hall for Yuan Longping. The exhibition hall shows the brilliant achievement in hybrid rice as well as the process of how Academician Yuan Longping breeds rice.
