Visit Air-raid Shelters in Chongqing for A Refreshing Summer Break

Come to air-raid shelters for a refreshing summer break! Chongqing opened 77 civil air defense works on July 2 for citizens to avoid the scorching heat of summer. Expected to stay open until late September, these shelters will open or close according to actual weather conditions.

All shelters are open for free and offer tea and chairs, and some will provide free books and newspapers, sunstroke prevention medicine and televisions. Chongqing Municipal Civil Air Defence Office opened related supervision hotlines: 67050831 and 67050899.

People are invited to enjoy the cool, but take notice: flammable, explosive, poisonous and dangerous products and pets are not allowed to be brought in; gambling is prohibited there; spreading of improper remarks are prohibited, and people are not allowed to visit the shelters when they are closed.
