The choir will give a show of chorus at the singing contest

The Concert of World Great Rivers will open to the public. The singing concert will launch at 19:30 on November 8 in Wanzhou District. The event regards it as a significant part of the 9th China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival.

The event is host by Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and Hubei Provincial People’s Government. It is organized by Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism Development, Chongqing Water Resources Bureau, People’s Government of Chongqing, Wanzhou District as well as Hubei Provincial Commission of Tourism Development. To present a perfect singing concert, the committee invites other choirs from regions, which along with large rivers in the world. Choirs will get together at Wanzhou District, giving an incredible singing contest here.

The event will be illuminated by performances of things about the large rivers’ best music. It is the connection of large rivers from the world, the Yellow River and the Yangtze River. Focusing on the Three Gorges, the event will present the gorgeous nature, culture as well as humanities. Therefore, the event will show the world “a land of natural beauty” and “a city with cultural appeal”.

The symphony show will present the amazing music to the public

There are 3 episodes of the World Singing Concert in Yangtze River –spirit, charm, and dream. In addition, there are different performing forms in the event, including chorus, dance, symphony and so forth. Chinese choirs and artists as well as those from countries of five continents, including Ireland, Russia, the United States, etc., will give a perfect show to audiences. Moreover, the performance list will engage Yellow River Cantata, Song of the Volga Boatman, Katyusha, Mo Li Hua and so on. Furthermore, the event invites ANÚNA (known as An Uaithne, the Irish choral ensemble) to give a show of tap dance.
