The Chongqing Global Travel Agents Conference 2018 will kick off on November 14, in Nan’an District. The conference invites 400 travel agents to visit Chongqing to broadcast the city. They are from  20 countries as Singapore, the USA, South Korea, New Zealand, and Belarus, etc.

To drive the face-to-face negotiations, there were 4 featured travel routes offered to them from November 9 to 13. The 400 travel agents toured downtown, cultural spots, natural spots, as well as the Yangtze River Cruise by grouping. These 4 wonderful routes provided different angles to travel agents to experience Chongqing. During the journey, the Three Gorges provided amazing sceneries, colorful  and unique culture to them.

Tour the Three Gorges

On November 10, more than 120  travel agents worldwide went on board at Chaotianmen wharf, starting a 4 days cruise tour along the Yangtze River through the Three Gorges. 

As one of the earliest tourist routes promoted to the world in China, the Three Gorges has one of the most magnificent karst gorge features in the world. It is the connection among famous places, showing the charm of the Three Gorges to the world. Meanwhile, there is a place called “the first gate of the Three Gorges”, an iconic landmark – Kui Men, locating in Fengjie County. In addition, it is also the image in the RMB 10 banknote, magnificent and splendid. The destination of the cruise is the Three Gorge Dam.

According to Walter Chamberlain, who is from COSMOS TRAVEL MARKETING of Boston, the cruise route is a perfect way to tour the Three Gorges, and it should be quite attractive for the American travellers. It is an incredible method for traveling, especially for those people who are interested in ancient culture. Additionally, Mark Celletti, the CEO of Marcopolo Marketing in America, took a photo with Kui Men by holding the RMB 10.

Hoang Thi Thu Hien is the head of a tourist company in Vietnam. She can understand a smattering of Chinese, and visited Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou etc. before. Moreover, she indicated the cruise route was pretty good. It contains viewing of mountains, rivers, as well as Chinese traditional culture. It is exciting for Fong Siau Pik, who is from Malaysia, to  visit the cruise for the first time .
