Here Are The First Batch of Chongqing Smart Tourism Demonstration Sites

Chongqing Municipal Culture and Tourism Association recently released the List of the First Batch of Chongqing Smart Tourism Demonstration Sites (Resort Areas), involving 19 destinations in 9 districts and counties.

With technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and mobile internet, these smart sites are visually managed and intelligently operated in a comprehensive and efficient way. In this way, tourists have access to travel consultations, information queries, e-commerce, travel experience, and other services.

For instance, the “Travelling in Wulong with One Mobile Phone” global smart travel system launched by Wulong District bears such functions as route recommendation, intelligent customization, and travel agency customization. Tourists can avail themselves of the whole-process intelligent service regarding tourist information acquisition, itinerary planning, as well as reservation, payment, review, and evaluation of products. By this means, they can easily handle dining, accommodation, travel, shopping, and recreation on their mobile phones.

Wulong District: Wulong Karst Tourist Area (Three Natural Bridges, Furong Cave on Fairy Mountain) (5A), Fairy Mountain Tourism Resort

Yongchuan District: Chongqing Locajoy (4A)

Jiangjin District: Simian Mountain Scenic Area (5A)

Wushan County: Lesser Three Gorges - Mini Three Gorges (5A), Goddess Scenic Area (Goddess Peak, Goddess Creek) (4A), Wenfeng Scenic Area (4A), Wushan Museum (3A)

Fengdu County: Mingshan Scenic Area (4A), Xueyu Cave Scenic Area (4A), Nantian Lake Scenic Area (4A), Nantian Lake Smart Tourism Resort

Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County: Qianye Grassland (4A).
