Chongqing - During this COVID-19 epidemic, thousands of expats in Chongqing are performing self quarantine at home. How are they handling all the difficulties of this challenging time? Are they safe, and do they have enough support from the local government and communities? In this series 'Living with COVID-19,' iChongqing is reaching out to them online to share their stories.
Chongqing S-Tech Co Ltd is a Korean manufacturer of polarizer sheets for use in electronic screens, such as televisions and mobile devices. They had to shut down operations when the virus broke out, but restarted production on February 12th. During of our recent visit to their factory, we learnt that over 90% of their staff are now coming to work.
General Manager Lee Seokgu, and vice manager Lee Changhun warmly accompanied us through our visit, and kindly agreed to film an episode in our series.
