By James Alexander Zhang Deng|Mar 09,2020

Chongqing - During this COVID-19 epidemic, thousands of ex-pats have performed self-quarantine at home.

How have they dealt with the challenges of this difficult time? Also, are they safe, and have they received enough government and communal support?

In this series 'Living with COVID-19,' iChongqing is reaching out to the ex-pat community to share their stories.

Riverside with Zak

Slowly but surely, normality is returning to daily life in Chongqing. So, in this episode of 'Living with COVID⑨- Zak,' go outdoors to discuss the epidemic.

As we found, the inner-city parks are still closed, but we managed to jog alongside the Jialing River. Later, we stepped down to the waters' edge to discuss Zak's experience of the crisis.

The location in the Dazhulin area of Chongqing was peaceful, but there were some young families around. Also, locals casually sat by the riverside as they watched over their fishing rods.
