It leads to increasingly closer contacts with ASEAN countries, where ASEAN has become Chongqing's largest trading partner.

According to Cai, relying on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Chongqing and ASEAN countries can use the corridor to power the logistics and then to power the industry. He believes this can further deepen the friendly cooperation between them.
