Chongqing- The Smart China Expo 2021 (SCE 2021) will be held at Chongqing International Expo Center from August 23 to 25 this year. The theme of "Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life" will also continue, according to a press conference held by the Information Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government Sunday.

Online and offline integration

The SCE 2021 will last for three days. Based on the principle of “online and offline integration, online-oriented mainly,” offline display activities are small-scale and high-quality. Online display emphasizes experience and scenes of a technologically improved near-future life.

It is estimated that more than 610 companies will participate in the exhibition online and offline this year, and the offline exhibition area will cover 70,000 square meters.

In order to effectively manage and control the COVID-19 pandemic, offline exhibitions are open to specially invited audiences only. The rest of the audience is encouraged to log on to the official website of the Smart China Expo to view the exhibition online.

Exhibitors from 31 countries and regions

At present, 133 important guests, including heads of relevant international organizations, global industry leaders, world-renowned science award-winning scientists, and internationally renowned scholars, have been invited to confirm their online or offline participation. The online and offline exhibitors are from 31 countries and regions.

At the SCE 2021, economic and trade cooperation exchanges and major project signing ceremonies will also be held to promote the deepening of exchanges and cooperation among countries along the Belt and Road, relevant international organizations, Sister Cities, and industry leaders.

The Chongqing Municipal People's Government and relevant departments began to host the Smart China Expo in Chongqing in 2018, and it has successfully held three sessions so far.
