Chongqing- The 13th China (Chongqing) Hotpot Food Culture Festival and Hotpot Industry Expo will be held at the Chongqing International Expo Center from October 29th to 31st, where its overall design and packaging of the outdoor exhibition area will be a highlight to the city, local authorities said Wednesday.

 

According to the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, Not only it brings together national hotpot brands, Chongqing specialties, and hotpot-related cultural and creative products, this year's Chongqing Hotpot Festival also includes a hotpot feast for thousands of people full of memories, allowing the audience to experience the old streets and alleys, the artistic nostalgia of casual graffiti, and the cyberpunk style of roads, bridges and tracks of the city.

A trillion-level industrial cluster

Offline and online 

This year's Chongqing Hotpot Festival will be held in an integrated offline plus online way.

Specifically, an offline exhibition area of 70,000 square meters is planned, which will gather more than 1,000 hotpot industry chain enterprises and over 20,000 industry chain-related products.

There will be eight exhibition areas, including a brand hotpot area, a brand ingredients area, a special area that involves cities along the Belt and Road, a rural revitalization area, a condiment area, a beverage area, an equipment and supporting service area, and etc.

From agricultural ingredients, seasonings and beverages to hotpot companies, derivative new retail, new cultural and creative products, supporting services, and cross-border experience, the event fully presents the development path of Chongqing hotpot towards a trillion-level industrial cluster.

Additionally, the Chongqing Hotpot Festival Cloud Exhibition is currently online, providing a smart hotpot festival experience for global audiences.

12 professional exhibition and exchange activities

During the event, a total of 12 professional exhibitions and exchange activities will be held, including the China hotpot industry innovation conference, China hotpot supply chain development forum, 2021 Chengdu-Chongqing catering integration development forum, Chongqing hotpot seasoning master competition, Hotpot ingredient selection meeting and hotpot banquet exhibition, international hotpot sourcing conference.

The Chongqing Hotpot Festival in October each year has been held for 12 consecutive years and has become an urban festival for Chongqing locals and an annual event for the national hotpot industry.

The event also won the honor of China's Top Ten Brand Festivals in the annual award of China's exhibition industry in 2020.
