Chongqing- Under the theme of Deepening the China-ASEAN Financial Cooperation and Creating a New Pattern of Connectivity, the 2021 China-Singapore (Chongqing) Connectivity Initiative Financial Summit (CCI-FS) will kick off in both Chongqing and Singapore from November 23 to 24, according to a press conference held on November 15.

The summit adopts a combination of online and offline activities, including an opening ceremony and theme meeting, key project signings, sub-forums, the annual meeting of the expert advisory group, financial technology festival, results exhibition, and others.
This year's summit will have four major highlights.
Important guests will attend this summit, including heads of central banks of ASEAN countries, executives of international financial institutions, leaders of relevant provinces and regions, experts, and scholars.
Together, they will share the feast of China-Singapore financial opening, discuss the future plan of China-Singapore financial cooperation and draw a blueprint for China-ASEAN economic development.
Three sub-forums will be held simultaneously, focusing on some key topics such as financial technology, green finance, and China-ASEAN financial cooperation.
The summit will deeply integrate national strategies such as the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and the construction of the New International Land and Sea Trade Corridor (ILSTC) in western China while contributing ideas for financial stability and development, two-way financial opening, the construction of the modern financial system, and the Belt and Road Initiative.
At the same time, by continuously holding the annual meetings of the China-Singapore financial experts advisory group, it will promote the landing of China-Singapore financial cooperation projects and facilitate the signing of financial cooperation projects in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, which can contribute wisdom and strength to the construction of the western financial center.
The summit will set up special events such as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Opportunities and Inland Opening Matchmaking Session, and the Initiative of Government and Bank to Help the RCEP Cooperation and Development will be jointly issued by representatives of financial regulatory, and commercial authorities, and domestic and foreign financial institutions.
Meanwhile, the summit will link Chinese and foreign media resources and empower its dissemination through artificial intelligence technology to further enhance the summit's brand awareness and platform effect.
In addition, during the summit, China Economic Information Service will release the 2021 China ESG Capital Management Products Development Report and the 2021 China Carbon Neutral Debt Development Report.

The China-Singapore FinTech Festival will be held for the first time during the summit, including the opening ceremony, competition, and open courses.
The Festival plans to set up China-Singapore Two Rivers Night Talk and other special events to present the image of Chongqing, discussing consumer finance to help the construction of an international consumer center city and the other related issues.
Additionally, exhibitions of online and offline achievements of China-Singapore financial cooperation will be held, aiming to promote effective collaborations among government, banks, and enterprises.
In response to the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in China, the summit has formulated a program to strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures. At present, the preparatory work for the conference is in an orderly manner.
