As the only minority township in Yunyang County, Qingshui Tujia Township is rich in tourism resources and has an excellent natural ecology.

Powered by three scenic areas, including Longgang Five A levels Scenic Area, the township receives more than 600,000 tourists per year. The comprehensive tourism income reaches 150 million yuan (about 22.9 million U.S. dollars). In recent years, the launch of construction in the Jiangkou-Longgang Expressway aims to build a vacation tourism brand in Qingshui.

At present, the waste soil excavated from the construction site of the Jiangkou-Longgang Expressway is piled up around Yunfeng Town, forming a wasteland covering an area of about 6,667 square meters. However, the project of constructing the Yunfeng folk customs center is planned to build a folk customs center and a square for the public on the wasteland.

After the project is completed, it will enable the market-town to provide more diversified services and enhance its ability to serve the public.

The folk customs center will set up a folk culture exhibition hall, an exhibition hall that shows the local life and folk customs, an intangible culture hall (Zhutai mourning songs), and a hall that puts on gong and drum performances during weeding, and a funeral center. There is also a square for the public to relax and enjoy themselves.

In addition, a parking lot will be built during the construction of the square to alleviate the problem of difficult parking for town residents and visitors during holidays.

Launched by Qingshui Tujia Township People's Government, this project is scheduled to begin in May 2022 and be fully completed by June 2023.

After the completion, it will improve the infrastructure and supporting facilities of Yunfeng Town, Qingshui Tujia Township, and provide more places of leisure and entertainment for the residents of this town.

The project serves as an important part of the “Rural Revitalization·Chongqing Session” hosted by Chongqing Charity Federation under the guidance of Chongqing Civil Affairs Bureau and Chongqing Rural Revitalization Bureau, with special support from Tencent Charity and Tencent Southwest Headquarters.

The activity will be held from April 27 to April 29, 2022, focusing on assistance in industrial development, elderly care, care for children, education, talents cultivation, and aid for the needy and the poor.
