Chongqing - On July 14, the Perception of Chongqing · Goodwill Communication Activity Series was held in Jiulongpo District and featured an aerial photography live broadcast. Over 5.6 million people worldwide watched the live broadcast, appreciating the Jiulong riverside, the patriotism education base, and the ancient millennial town.

The event drew the overseas audience's attention, receiving likes and comments from Pakistan, Canada, Argentina, Hungary, India, and other countries.

Jiulong Beach: tracing footprints of history

If a museum is the historical imprint of a city, then the name of the city is her exclusive humanistic symbol. Named after Jiulong Beach, Jiulongpo has its cultural and spiritual values.

The core area of "Jiulong Beach Scenic Area" is about 80 hectares, consisting of Jiulong Beach Park, Jianchuan Museum, China Naval History Museum, etc.

Jiulong Beach is an urban riverside recreation area with leisure activities, cultural displays, and sightseeing. On the Jiulong Peninsula, there is a new landmark on the Yangtze River - the Jiulong Lighthouse (the Yangtze River Lighthouse). Located on the 6300-kilometer Yangtze River, the lighthouse is about 63 meters high. Its peculiar spiral stair shape makes the lighthouse look like both grilled gluten and a corkscrew.

Jianchuan Museum Scenic Area includes Hull 166 Exhibition Hall, 618 Naval Museum, and Lighthouse Museum. With an area of 2700 square meters, the museum is designed to mimic the shape of future battleships. In the future, one end of the riverside walkway will be connected to the air-raid shelter. In contrast, the other will be connected to Jiulong Bund Square so that residents can enjoy the fantastic scenery walking along the river.

Walking down the iconic "Jiulong Staircase," you can see a bronze sculpture of "Miles of the Yangtze River" along the riverside roads. The scroll depicts the scenery of Chongqing and the Three Gorges, showing significant changes in the Yangtze River.

Tongguanyi Town: a happy and modern town

As the live camera switched, a thousand-year-old town, Tongguanyi Town, appeared on the screen. The town is located in the western part of Zhongliang Mountain, with a pleasant ecological environment and 38 percent forest coverage.

Tongguanyi town has a unique and blessed natural landscape, with the first gorge of the Three Gorges and the Yangtze River wonder of the Horse Head. Moreover, the town's human landscape is also unique, with many cultural relics protection units.

In recent years, Tongguanyi Town has relied on its location advantage, humanistic resources, and idyllic ecology to promote countryside construction and build a happy and modern town.

Caiyun Lake: the first national wetland park in Chongqing

In Jiulongpo District, there is also a hidden "land of peach blossom" in the downtown - Caiyun Lake National Wetland Park, the most significant ecological and urban wetland park in the central city of Chongqing.

The park is full of flowers and trees. The lake in the park is like an emerald among city buildings, attracting animals like egrets, gray herons, kingfishers, mandarin ducks, etc. What's more, the lake is the source of Taohua Creek and improves the ecological environment of the city's inland waters.

Covering a total area of 1,650 acres, Caiyun Lake National Wetland Park used to be a landfill and sewage cesspool. After several rounds of ecological restoration, its environment and water quality significantly improved, and Caiyun Lake became the first national wetland park in Chongqing.

The construction of Caiyun Lake National Wetland Park has effectively driven the development and utilization of land around the area. Nowadays, business buildings, high-end residential buildings, and high-tech industries are gathering around the lake, and the regional economy is booming with remarkable benefits.
