Chongqing - As part of the Fourth Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (WCIFIT), the China (Chongqing) Cross-Border E-Commerce Trade Forum was held at the Chongqing International Expo Center on July 22. Liao Honghai, president of Alliance Investment Management, accepted iChongqing's interview and revealed that the largest industrial park for cross-border E-commerce in Chongqing would be constructed.  

Chongqing has experienced significant development in recent years, so the China Cross-Border E-Commerce Trade Forum came here to explore Chongqing's cross-border E-commerce potential.  

According to Liao Honghai, "we plan to launch the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Cross-border E-commerce Industrial Park to integrate all the resources within the industry in Chongqing, including training, logistics, supply chain finance, taxation, trade, and payment."

Under the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Demonstration Initiative on Strategic Connectivity (CCI), the construction of the cluster is one of the most significant cross-border E-commerce projects. There will be six major aspects to the park, and it will be the largest industrial park for cross-border e-commerce in Chongqing. Top platforms like Amazon and Lazada, several related firms, talent cultivation bases for major universities like Nanyang Technological University, and economic and trade cooperation points of several Asian and European countries will be located in this cluster.

Besides being a place of business, Liao pointed out that "it would serve as a platform for economic and trade cooperation among Belt and Road countries. This industrial park can extend the entire industry to Southeast Asia and Europe."

China (Chongqing) Cross-Border E-Commerce Trade Fair's debut at this year's WCIFIT provides Chongqing with multiple economic and trade opportunities, promoting Chongqing's internationalization and opening up to the world.
