Chongqing - On June 19th, the art exhibition of individualized cultivation of talents was opened to the public in Chongqing. More than 100 works of Sichuan Fine Art Institute's (SCFAI) Individualized Training Featured Studio are displayed in an art museum at Nanbin Road. It’s also a part of the 2021 graduate exhibition of the SCFAI outside the campus.
Since the opening of "Chongqing Art Market·Blooming June," tons of visitors have come to the SCFAI Museum and the exhibition hall of Huxi Commune to appreciate these great artworks from graduates. It became a trending cultural event in Chongqing in recent years. As the epidemic is generally controllable, 2021 Bloom June has a richer level than last year. It was formed offline and online, and the on-campus and off-campus modes. The whole Blooming June event works as organic cooperation between the university, the local government, and enterprises. This year, it continued to promote the "Urban Art Cell Cultivation Program" and implemented them in the public art space of Chongqing. Well-known curators of the SCAFI will organize a large number of outstanding works of the university and open the "Chongqing Art Market· Blooming June," the main exhibition outside the campus.

Nanbin Road Sunac·Sometimes Art Museum serves as the main exhibition venue off-campus, continuing the overall idea of the "Urban Art Cell Cultivation Plan," promoting art into the community, in-depth life, further enhancing the urban artistic atmosphere of the city, and expanding cultural tourism activities. It is reported that due to the fever of art-lovers, the on-campus exhibition was extended to June 20. Also, the off-campus exhibition continues to build connections between all the activities and tries to serve people in Nan’an, Yuzhong, Jiangbei, and Yubei Districts.

One hundred fifty pieces of artworks from 12 studios of SCAFI were showcased this time, involving Chinese painting, calligraphy, oil painting, printmaking, watercolor painting, sculpture, arts and crafts, experimental art, interactive media design, and other majors of art. Han Jing, the curator, said that the exhibition on Nanbin Road mainly presents SCFAI’s “Individualized Training Studio" teaching results.” “Since the SCFAI initiated and implemented the ‘Individualized Training Featured Studio Program’ in 2015, it has been committed to continuously exploring the cultivation of elite art talents and the path of personalized education in the context of higher art education. SCFAI has carried out various forms of talent training model reforms.” Han Jing said.

The exhibition area of Sunac·Sometimes Art Museum is about 1500 square meters. The Museum is adjacent to Ciyun Temple, Longmenhao Old Street, the Forbidden City Cultural Relics Museum, Chongqing Planning Exhibition Hall, Danzishi Old Street, and other cultural buildings. Next, several off-campus sub-exhibition activities will be held in Dazhulin Chongqing·Sunac No.1 Yard Exhibition Hall, Chongqing Art Market Beicang Art Space, and other places.
