The scene of the light show, with the Chinese characters meaning "meet in Wanzhou"

When walking by the riverside at Nanbin Avenue of Wanzhou District, Chongqing, you will be definitely amazed by a huge 50x180m “stage” floating on the Yangtze River. And when the night falls, it will convert itself into a magical world of light and shadows.
As part of the 9th China Yangtze River Three Gorges International Tourism Festival, the light shows will kick off in November. The light shows consist of three subcategories, namely a Thematic Light Show on the Yangtze River, a Decorative Light Show on the riverbanks, and an Interactive Carnival of Light Show.
The floating stage of the light show is about 50 meters away from the riverbank. While the show is based on 3D holographic projection, a multimedia laser matrix will be installed on top of buildings on the opposite side of the river.
The long-distance perspective combines riverside roads, sloping shore, buildings, and the surrounding environment. The light and the shadows show will depict the silhouette of the buildings and the waters.
The site uses the advanced sound and light technologies to launch a scene-like and built-in-fluid light and shadow performance. There is no doubt that it will present a complete multi-dimensional interactive urban light show.

On the evening of Nov. 8, the light show will interact with the Concert of World Great Rivers, which will be held simultaneously in Wanzhou. After the singing contest, the audience and the performers can walk by the Decorative Light Show area and enjoy the stunning light show by the riverside.
In terms of the Interactive Carnival of Light Show, it will take place at the Expo Plaza (Huizhan Guangchang in Chinese) of Wanzhou. There will be a lot of interactive activities that the visitors could experience.
