Virtual China Brand Show for Colombia Held Online

The China Brand Show (Colombia) Virtual kicked off online successfully on April 20, Colombia time.

More than 50 key enterprises from Chongqing attended the event. They displayed diverse products from local brands, including automobiles, motorcycles, hardware products, intelligent manufacturing, agricultural and sideline products, and ICH products at the Online Digital Exhibition Hall.

The number of online visits exceeded 10,000 on that day. Through the virtual platform, Changan Auto, Sokon, and other Chongqing enterprises displayed a series of vehicle models designed for the Colombian market, such as 580SUV and K05S cargo van.

With a new science and technology image based on innovative ideas and technologies, Chongqing Construction Engineering Group displayed its Gongyu Interconnection Platform. This is a platform for digital ecological coordination throughout the concrete industrial chain that integrates e-commerce, intelligent manufacturing, smart logistics, electronic settlement, and supply chain finance.

Moreover, Chongqing’s unique spicy food culture also made an impression on Colombian purchasers. Enterprises represented by Zhoujunji displayed diverse condiments for hotpot and water-boiled fish, aiming to enhance the visibility of Chongqing hotpot in South America and even in the whole world.

For the upcoming physical China Brand Show for Colombia scheduled for May 25, Chongqing has set up a Chongqing Brand Showcase Center to display products from Chongqing brands. Based in Medellín, the second-largest city in Colombia, the center can provide products and services for purchasers and consumers in the country all year round.

Looking forward, the Showcase Center is expected to emerge as one of Chongqing’s important public service platforms for international sales.

Meanwhile, it is also expected to develop into a key platform that helps Chongqing enterprises expand the South American market and a window that helps China and Colombia display their products, culture, education, tourism, and image. This will further play a positive role in bringing mutual investment and trade cooperation to fruition.
