Chongqing- How can Chongqing Liangjiang New Area show greater accomplishments in promoting the construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country?

To answer the question, at the key node in the first year of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), ten major projects of Liangjiang New Area were officially released.

Specifically, the major projects involve constructing the Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone, the Lijia Yuelai Smart Park, the Guoyuan Port, the Industrial Internet Demonstration Zone, the Cuntan International New City, etc.

The construction of the Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone, the Lijia Yuelai Smart Park, and the Liangjiang Digital Economy Industrial Park are three major projects for the New Area to push for scientific and technological innovation.

They are accelerating the deployment of the innovation chain around the industrial chain and making every effort to promote innovation-driven development led by big data intelligence, striving to create an industrial innovation highland.

At the same time, the hub port serves as the city's business card of Chongqing, where the Guoyuan Port construction project is benchmarking world-class ports. Accelerating the construction of a multimodal transport logistics hub system combining "hub + channel + network," it aims to build an open and green smart port,

Building a domestic first-class industrial Internet innovation and development demonstration zone, the Industrial Internet Demonstration Zone will focus on key tasks, including improving new infrastructure, strengthening platform support capabilities, deepening the level of integration and application, building an industrial ecosystem, and consolidating development safety guarantees.

Meanwhile, the two-city coordinated development project of Liangjiang New Area is a concrete practice to implement further the national strategy and the coordinated development strategy of One Area and Two Cluster.

At present, Liangjiang New Area and Tianfu New Area have formed the eight major industry flagship alliances of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle. They are engaged in the linkage of openness, innovation, industry, reform, talent, urbanization, governance, ecology, work of Party-building, continuing to strengthen cooperation.

Furthermore, the Cuntan International New City is actively developing its international tourism, consumption, trade, exchanges, and other industries, speeding up the construction of the Cuntan area into a core bearing site of the international consumption center city, a new highland for urban form display, and a new window for opening up to the world.
