Chongqing- Crew members of the first Zhengzhou-Chongqing High-Speed Rail (HSR) train made their debut in Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Sunday.

The main model serving this route is the Fuxing CR400AF, ten units of which will be on duty. The engineers have inspected the functions of all the trains, including the power supply, traction, brake, network, and AC system, to ensure the seat adjustment, broadcasting and lighting are in the best condition, making the riding more comfortable. They also apply intelligent technology to operate the HSR. For example, the HSR health system can monitor the real-time technical conditions remotely, providing technical and security support via big data analysis.

The driver of the first departure, Li Ningyun, comes from Yunyang county of Chongqing and is very excited, "I've been an HSR driver since 2017, and I believe I'm experienced. However, it's the first time we have to drive in a section with such a high ratio of bridges and tunnels. With so many troubling inclines and declines, it isn't easy to control the operational speed. It's a challenge to operate the train safely." To be qualified for this mission, all drivers have taken and passed a specific training session for 24 hours and practical probation for more than 6,000 kilometers.
